Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must full fill any one of the following:
Minimum Job Entry Age : 18 Years
10th Pass with ITI in any mechanic / Electrical trade or equivalent
3 Years Diploma Holder (Mechanical / Petroleum / Electrical / Chemical / Civil) or equivalent
Engineering Graduate (Mechanical / Petroleum / Electrical / Chemical / Civil) or equivalent
ON RIG TRAINING PROGRAM (ORTP)
The ORTP is a Six-month course, including two months of classroom and practical training at the institute, followed by Four months at a drilling rig and additional classroom sessions. It includes Assistant Technician-Drilling, Fire & Safety Technician Certifications and First Aid from a government-recognized organization.
Structured Curriculum will be according to- 1/ Hydrocarbon Sector Skill Council (HSSC) Assistant Technician-Drilling (Oil & Gas)
- 2/ Hydrocarbon Sector Skill Council (HSSC) Fire Safety Technician (Oil & Gas)
- 3/ St. John's ambulance First Aid (Oil & Gas)
Training will be conducted by seasoned professionals from the Oil & Gas Exploration sector.
The academic oversight and faculty guidance for the institute will be supported by the Hydrocarbon Sector Skill Council and Department of Petroleum Technology, Dibrugarh University, Assam
